- "IT
graduate supply 'worst for 15 years'" reports Computerworld NZ
A recent article in Computerworld reports that the IT job market
in New Zealand has had impressive growth in 2004, with the IT Vacancy
Index growing by 70% in the first half of the year. At the same time,
the number of students beginning IT degrees is at a 15 year low. This
will lead to "a major gap between supply and demand for ICT graduates
stretching out for at least another five years", according to one
prediction.
